Flanders Fields. ANZAC DAY.

Published April 25, 2012 by issy1999 :)

In Flanders fields the poppies blow,

Between the crosses, row on row,

That mark our place: and in the sky,

The larks, still braverly singing, fly,

Scarce heard amid the guns below,

We are the dead. short days ago,

We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,

Loved and were loved, and now we lie,

In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from failing hands we throw,

The torch; be yours to hold it high,

If ye break faith with us who die,

We shall not sleep, though poppies grow,

In Flanders fields.

John McCrae {1872-1918}

Lest we forget. ❤

We all enjoy delicious food,

Makes us happy, fixes our mood,

It’s all about the juicy taste,

Doesn’t matter, where the food is placed,

We should consider nutritional support,

We shall need it, if we engage in sport,

Energy; food provides-plenty

Need a bit more, if we are over twenty,

A great dish, we should all savor,

Eat slowly, as we taste the flavour,

Choose our very favourite cuisine,

Is it red? or is it green?

This was my second part of my assignment.

On saturday I ate no breakfast. For snacks I ate chips, a creme egg, chocolate biscuits. For lunch I ate a beef schnitzel and chips with gravy. After lunch I ate lollies, a milko and vanilla icecream with strawberry topping. For dinner I had chicken soup and chicken chipies. For dessert I had more icecream and over the day I drank coke, cordial, raspberry soft drink, lemonade and apple juice. I think most of the day my food was unhealthy. The food that I ate fitted into these food groups (extras, poultry and meat)  I think I could make my day healthier if I ate less extra food.

After school I had left over roast potatos, chicken, peas and chocolate cake roll. For dinner I had beef kebabs with onions and mushrooms with fried rice and an extra snack, spaghetti. For dessert I had carrot cake. Over the day i drank mineral water, lemonade and water. Over all my daily in take of food was majority healthy. The food I ate was in these food groups wheat, fruit and vegies, poultry and extras. I think I could improve it by eating less extra snacks.
